Responsibility
- Assume full technical ownership of test loadboards and test sockets in production, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of hardware failures to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of test equipment.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to enhance test processes and improve yield.
- Design and modify test fixtures and hardware interfaces to accommodate new product requirements.
- Document all technical procedures, changes, and improvements for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for hardware maintenance and testing.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor test hardware to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test hardware engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on experience with test loadboards, sockets, and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Strong proficiency in schematic reading, PCB design, and hardware debugging.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality standards (e.g., ISO, JEDEC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
