Responsibility
- Design, develop, and validate custom test equipment and fixtures for electronic components and assemblies.
- Optimize existing test systems to improve accuracy, efficiency, and throughput in high-volume production.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to define test requirements and ensure alignment with product specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in test equipment, minimizing downtime and defects.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C++).
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
- Document test procedures, protocols, and results for compliance and traceability.
- Stay abreast of emerging testing technologies and recommend upgrades to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test equipment development for electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in test automation software (LabVIEW, TestStand, or equivalent) and programming languages (Python, C++, or C#).
- Strong knowledge of electrical test methods (e.g., functional testing, in-circuit testing, boundary scan).
- Experience with high-speed digital, analog, and RF testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards (IPC, ISO, UL) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across global teams.
