Responsibility
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Final Test Automated Test Equipment (ATE), including Pick and Place, Strip, and Turret systems.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize test programs and scripts to ensure high accuracy and efficiency in semiconductor testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ATE hardware/software issues, minimizing downtime and improving system reliability.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to enhance test methodologies and reduce defects.
- Lead equipment calibration, validation, and performance benchmarking to meet industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test automation, reducing cycle time and cost per test.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on ATE operations and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging ATE technologies and recommend upgrades to maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with expertise in ATE systems (Pick and Place, Strip, Turret).
- Proficiency in test program development (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or TestStand).
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, MATLAB, or Excel) for yield and defect analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for complex ATE systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality standards is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across global teams.
