Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, checklists, and procedures to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources and materials.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, installations, or upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices for health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or direct-selling industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and machinery maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a maintenance team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar software.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or other safety and quality standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare reports and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
