Responsibility
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of ICT and FCT test equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Develop and implement test fixtures and jigs to support new product introductions (NPI) and existing production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality Assurance) to resolve test-related issues and improve test coverage.
- Analyze test data and generate reports to identify trends, defects, or process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for test failures and propose corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and internal quality control protocols.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on test equipment operation and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in automated testing and recommend upgrades to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in ICT/FCT testing for electronics manufacturing (Senior role requires 5+ years).
- Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and automated test systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PCBAs and interpreting schematics, BOMs, and test specifications.
- Strong knowledge of test programming (e.g., LabVIEW, C++, Python) and fixture design.
- Familiarity with smart meter testing or energy management systems is highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) are a bonus for collaboration with global teams.
