Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of mechanical/electrical systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure designs meet technical, functional, and aesthetic requirements.
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for accuracy and compliance.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, manufacturability, and performance using DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts before full-scale production.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering design.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing CAD proficiency.
- Expertise in 3D modeling, simulation, and rendering using industry-standard CAD tools.
- Proven track record of delivering high-precision designs from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of materials science, tolerancing, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex engineering challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
