Responsibility
- Lead the installation, calibration, and maintenance of advanced testers and interfaces to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Spearhead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including test program development, validation, and debugging.
- Analyze yield and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities, implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and optimize test methodologies to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality Assurance) to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth within the team.
- Document test procedures, reports, and technical specifications to maintain traceability and compliance with ISO/TS standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in semiconductor testing to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, with a focus on tester/interface installation, NPI, or yield enhancement.
- Proven expertise in test program development (e.g., using LabVIEW, Python, C++, or Teradyne/Advantest platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven problem-solving (e.g., statistical process control, DOE, FMEA).
- Hands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and debugging complex hardware/software interfaces.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring junior team members.
- Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949, JEDEC, or AEC-Q standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and adapt to shifting priorities.
