Responsibility
- Manage and monitor electrical systems to ensure compliance with DOSH and the Electrical Supply Act and Regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations and equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and implement electrical safety policies and procedures.
- Train and supervise staff on electrical safety protocols and best practices.
- Prepare and submit reports on electrical inspections, incidents, and compliance status.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure electrical projects meet regulatory standards.
- Investigate electrical incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Certified Chargeman AO (Authorized Electrical Officer) with valid certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of DOSH regulations and the Electrical Supply Act.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
