Responsibility
- Develop and implement advanced testing protocols to improve process capability and reduce defect rates (PPM).
- Optimize operational specifications to enhance yield, efficiency, and product reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis for testing failures and propose corrective actions.
- Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) to validate process improvements.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to production staff on testing procedures and quality standards.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to align testing strategies with product development goals.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics (e.g., yield, PPM, cycle time) to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF) and internal quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor testing, production engineering, or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment (e.g., ATE, oscilloscopes, multimeters) and data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, Python).
- Experience with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
