Responsibility
- Design, develop, and validate automated test systems for precision timing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to define test requirements and improve product reliability.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, firmware, and software for production testing using languages like Python, C++, or LabVIEW.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in test setups, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Optimize test processes to reduce cycle time and enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
- Document test procedures, results, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to production teams during product launches and scaling.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test engineering, preferably in precision timing, semiconductor, or embedded systems.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C++) and hardware interfaces (e.g., GPIB, USB, Ethernet).
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits, signal integrity, and measurement techniques.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISO, or industry-specific standards for timing products.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across global teams.
