Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic membership growth plans to expand IESâs global engineering community
- Oversee all membership processes including applications, renewals, and member communications
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including engineering professionals, academic institutions, and industry partners
- Design and execute member engagement programs, events, and professional development initiatives
- Monitor member satisfaction and implement retention strategies to reduce churn
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align membership services with organizational goals
- Analyze membership data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
- Represent IES at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Ensure compliance with professional membership standards and organizational policies
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Engineering background is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in membership management, preferably in professional associations or engineering sectors
- Proven track record in membership growth, retention, and engagement strategies
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong project management abilities with experience in planning and executing membership programs
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in CRM systems and membership management software
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform membership strategies
