Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure clash-free coordination and resolve design conflicts.
- Generate and update 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimations from BIM data to support project planning.
- Conduct BIM audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Assist in 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost) BIM integration for project visualization and analysis.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM workflows and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and local building codes.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and model validation tools.
- Familiarity with LOD (Level of Development) standards and BIM execution plans (BEP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
