Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for server and rack solutions, ensuring alignment with product specifications and industry standards.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and coverage of test cycles.
- Conduct performance, stress, and load testing to validate system behavior under extreme conditions.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and product teams to identify potential defects, root causes, and solutions.
- Document and report test results, defects, and recommendations using clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance testing processes.
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to proactively mitigate quality risks.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the QA team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in hardware testing, server/rack validation, or system integration testing.
- Proven expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, JMeter, or LabVIEW).
- Strong knowledge of server architectures, networking protocols, and data center infrastructure.
- Experience with performance benchmarking tools (e.g., IxChariot, iPerf, or custom scripts).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, or similar are highly desirable.
