Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to enable continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with QA, development, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and improve test coverage.
- Write, debug, and optimize test scripts in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects and test failures with clear documentation and actionable insights.
- Monitor test execution, analyze results, and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and methodologies to enhance automation efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in test automation across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong portfolio of frameworks developed.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
