Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and validation of test cases for iMIS and associated member portals, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system performance and usability.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and user experience.
- Automate test processes where applicable to enhance efficiency and scalability of testing efforts.
- Support the implementation of best practices in quality assurance and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
- Mentor junior test analysts and provide guidance on testing techniques and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst or Quality Assurance Engineer, with a focus on iMIS or similar enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in test planning, execution, and validation for complex software solutions, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid/remote environment.
- Certifications such as ISTQB or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
