Responsibility
- Design and analyze telecommunication poles, towers, and structural systems using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, or similar).
- Ensure all designs comply with local and international engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine structural requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and field teams to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports for approval and implementation.
- Optimize structural designs for material efficiency, durability, and ease of installation.
- Review and approve third-party structural designs and provide expert recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on telecommunication poles, towers, or similar infrastructure.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of local and international engineering codes (e.g., AISC, ASCE, Eurocode, or Indonesian standards).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical drawings and calculations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
