Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on power systems, generators, and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in power distribution systems, control panels, and related infrastructure.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and calibrations of electrical components to comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades, modifications, and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and support staff.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Assist in emergency response situations, including power outages and equipment failures, to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technician in power systems, industrial maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, generators, and power distribution networks.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Certifications in electrical safety, first aid, or industrial maintenance are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to document technical reports clearly.
