Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, dishwashers, mixers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend service life.
- Conduct on-site repairs and installations at client premises with speed and technical accuracy.
- Interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and blueprints to ensure correct equipment configuration.
- Maintain detailed service reports and logs for all equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians.
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and operational protocols.
- Manage inventory of essential spare parts and tools required for field service calls.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in repairing commercial kitchen equipment or industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, refrigeration systems, and gas-powered kitchen appliances.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and standard hand/power tools.
- Possess a valid driving license and willingness to travel within the Shah Alam and Klang Valley area.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and wiring schematics.
