Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on FMCG equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored service solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inventory of parts.
- Provide training and support to client staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in FMCG equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
