Responsibility
- Set up, operate, and maintain printing machinery to produce high-quality materials such as signs, banners, and packaging.
- Monitor printing processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Adjust machine settings, such as speed, pressure, and ink flow, to achieve desired print outcomes.
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and operational protocols.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Printer Operator or Technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Technical knowledge of printing machinery, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve printing issues.
- Basic understanding of color theory, design, and print production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, or specifications.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing technology is a plus.
