Responsibility
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of laser systems, optical components, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead on-site and remote technical support for customers, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and R&D, to implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of high-precision machinery in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Document all service activities, including technical reports, maintenance logs, and customer interactions, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise to enhance team capabilities and knowledge base.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all technical operations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for equipment enhancements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical support, equipment maintenance, or field service role, preferably in the laser, photonics, or semiconductor industries.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical or optical systems.
- Strong knowledge of laser safety protocols, ISO standards, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, calibration equipment, and technical software (e.g., LabVIEW, CAD).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support or training as required.
- Certifications in laser technology, equipment maintenance, or relevant industry standards are a plus.
