Responsibility
- Update and maintain machine configurations, test stations, fixtures, and test boards to ensure optimal performance and alignment with production requirements.
- Manage and reconcile inventory maintenance databases with Industrial Engineering (IE) data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform regular inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document all maintenance activities, updates, and modifications in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation, maintenance protocols, and safety procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Technician or Application Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting for industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, database updates, and IE data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, safety protocols, and quality control procedures in industrial settings.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document procedures and train team members.
