Responsibility
- Develop detailed residential construction drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and compliance with architectural specifications.
- Collaborate with Australian architects and builders to refine designs and address technical requirements.
- Prepare and update construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to local and international building codes and standards.
- Review and incorporate feedback from project stakeholders to enhance design quality.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy reference and future modifications.
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to construction drawings and specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools and techniques to improve efficiency and output quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, preferably in residential construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise, error-free drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with international teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting project deadlines.
- Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing previous residential construction projects is highly desirable.
