In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, quality control, safety, scheduling, and cost management of distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver high-performance solar installations that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Based in Bali, you’ll collaborate with local and international stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in solar energy to accelerate the adoption of clean power across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Whether you’re based in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, this role offers the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment while making a tangible difference in the renewable energy landscape.
Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end management of distributed solar PV EPC projects, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, local regulations).
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA, local laws, and company policies to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients to align project objectives and resolve technical or logistical challenges.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial analyses, and post-project evaluations to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including supply chain delays, weather dependencies, and regulatory hurdles.
- Drive continuous improvement in project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy) or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in solar PV EPC projects.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverter technologies, mounting structures, and grid integration.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, PVSyst) and financial software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Indonesian energy regulations, PLN interconnection requirements, and local permitting processes.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions in Southeast Asia.
