Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automatic test equipment (ATE) and test programs for electronic product testing, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of test development engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to define test requirements and optimize test processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee the validation and deployment of test solutions, ensuring seamless integration into production environments.
- Drive cost-effective test strategies that enhance product reliability while reducing time-to-market and operational costs.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in test engineering, and recommend adoption of best practices and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation for test procedures, equipment specifications, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex test-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in test development engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in ATE design, test program development, and electronics manufacturing processes.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, LabVIEW), and test software development.
- Experience with IPC standards, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
