Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Talend-based ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
- Architect scalable and high-performance data solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Optimize existing data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Talend (Talend Data Integration, Talend ESB, or Talend Big Data).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python for data processing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
