Responsibility
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of cybersecurity platforms, tools, and infrastructure to ensure robust protection against threats.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity operations, providing guidance to Technology and Business Groups on risk mitigation and compliance.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Oversee incident response and vulnerability management, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and resolution of security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security-by-design principles into IT systems and applications.
- Monitor and analyze security metrics and KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Drive automation and innovation in cybersecurity operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing security platforms and operations.
- Deep expertise in enterprise security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX) and risk management methodologies.
- Proven track record in incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC are highly preferred.
- Experience working in financial services, asset management, or a highly regulated industry is a plus.
