Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts for software applications.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring high standards of testing and documentation.
- Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to align QA processes with project goals.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Implement automation testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for potential issues.
- Monitor and report on QA metrics, providing insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management using tools like JIRA, Selenium, or Postman.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, or Cucumber).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
