As part of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize tax strategies, ensure compliance with local and national regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership. Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize financial efficiency for the organization.
- Conduct regular tax audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to legal requirements and internal policies.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors to resolve tax-related inquiries and disputes.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and proactively communicate updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with tax obligations.
- Maintain organized documentation of tax records, filings, and correspondence for audit and reference purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance, advisory, or planning, preferably in the healthcare, corporate, or consulting sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including corporate tax, VAT, PPh, and other relevant regulations.
- Proven experience with tax software (e.g., e-SPT, Oracle, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is required.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-growing organization is advantageous.
