Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end tax administration, including preparation, filing, and submission of corporate tax returns in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Conduct tax audits and internal reviews to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage tax equalization and reconciliation processes for employees and corporate entities, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Perform in-depth corporate tax analysis to assess liabilities, incentives, and optimization opportunities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors to resolve tax issues and disputes efficiently.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with local and international laws.
- Prepare and present tax reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting risks, trends, and recommendations.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax legislation and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in logistics, multinational corporations, or consulting firms.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, income tax, and transfer pricing regulations.
- Proven experience in tax audits, compliance, and dispute resolution with tax authorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and tax implications.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local Indonesian platforms) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain tax concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
