Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (PPH, PPN, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full legal compliance.
- Conduct thorough tax audits and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and ensure timely tax reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts.
- Represent the company in communications with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting with a focus on tax implications.
- Maintain organized documentation for all tax-related activities and filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPH, PPN, local taxes) and international tax principles.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality.
