Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future hiring needs across Malaysia and regional markets.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Optimize recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Leverage data-driven insights to track hiring metrics, identify trends, and refine strategies for better outcomes.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract passive candidates and position VAT Group as a top employer.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships to supplement internal recruitment efforts when necessary.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in talent acquisition, including diversity hiring, remote work, and digital recruitment tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a recruitment team.
- Proven track record of scaling hiring operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong expertise in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing top candidates.
- Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HR analytics tools to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance, and best practices in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
- Ability to thrive in a remote or hybrid work setting while leading a distributed team.
