Responsibility
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on systems to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system maintenance and security.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system maintenance, IT support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a Windows/Linux environment.
- Experience with server maintenance, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
