Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for mission-critical buildings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct detailed electrical and mechanical calculations, including load assessments, energy modeling, and system sizing.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate HVAC solutions seamlessly into building designs.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to identify opportunities for system optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in HVAC design and implementation.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a focus on mission-critical or commercial buildings.
- Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical system design, including proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Certification in HVAC design or related fields (e.g., LEED, PE) is highly desirable.
