Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for transport infrastructure systems to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to integrate and validate system components.
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot system defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve system quality.
- Conduct system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders on testing methodologies and best practices.
- Prepare detailed test reports, including metrics, analysis, and recommendations for system improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance testing and integration processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system testing, integration, or a related role, preferably in transport infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Bash).
- Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, and hardware-software integration.
- Experience with IoT, embedded systems, or real-time control systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a plus.
