Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise IT systems, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Develop and implement automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to optimize system performance and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and load balancers, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Administer cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments, with a focus on cost efficiency and scalability.
- Enforce cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess IT needs and deliver tailored infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering, IT infrastructure, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in Windows/Linux server administration and enterprise-level virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, AWS/Azure Certified, or ITIL are a plus.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
