Responsibility
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot NGINX web servers to ensure high availability and performance.
- Administer VMware virtualization environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines.
- Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators and end-users.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on NGINX and VMware.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Experience with network configuration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.
