Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Coordinate with the SOC team to investigate and resolve security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and patch management to mitigate risks across enterprise systems.
- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures to align with industry best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into IT projects and infrastructure.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT security, SOC operations, or cybersecurity roles.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar, Elastic SIEM) and security incident management.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond to security incidents effectively.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
