Responsibility
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities.
- Monitor inventory performance, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, such as warehouse optimization or automation initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on inventory performance, KPIs, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or procurement, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with demand forecasting tools and inventory optimization software is a plus.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
