Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end export documentation process, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to ensure timely vessel bookings and container optimization.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions for service improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and local export laws.
- Collaborate with internal production and warehouse teams to align export schedules with manufacturing output.
- Handle cargo insurance and Letter of Credit (L/C) documentation for international trade transactions.
- Resolve logistical discrepancies and shipping exceptions in real-time to minimize delivery delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in export operations, shipping, or supply chain management.
- Expert knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international trade documentation (incoterms).
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of optimizing logistics workflows.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple urgent shipments simultaneously.
