Responsibility
- Design and analyze structural systems for luxury villas, ensuring compliance with Indonesian building codes and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into architectural designs.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess soil conditions, load requirements, and environmental factors.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to structural plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Optimize material usage and construction methods to enhance cost-efficiency without compromising structural integrity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in structural engineering, sustainable materials, and seismic-resistant designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, with a portfolio of completed residential or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Experience with seismic and tropical climate considerations in structural design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- PE (Professional Engineer) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
