Responsibility
- Lead the structural design and analysis of complex projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode).
- Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using advanced software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate structural solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess structural integrity and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Perform load calculations, seismic analysis, and material selection to optimize structural performance and sustainability.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, risk assessments, and progress reports to clients and leadership.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; PE or Chartered Engineer certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Tekla).
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and composite structures, as well as foundation design and geotechnical considerations.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and familiarity with international design standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Fluent in English with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work in Indonesia (valid work permit or eligibility to obtain one).
