Responsibility
- Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit).
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with local and international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode).
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess structural requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
- Perform load calculations, seismic analysis, and foundation design to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Oversee construction phase support, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and on-site inspections.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and sustainable design practices to enhance project efficiency and environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building or infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is highly preferred.
- Proficient in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of international design codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocode) and local Indonesian regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with seismic design and tropical climate considerations is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
