Responsibility
- Develop and optimize PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and yield.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Design and execute process validation protocols, including DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis.
- Provide technical support for new product introductions (NPI) and ensure seamless transition to mass production.
- Maintain and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on PCBA best practices and safety protocols.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA process engineering, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams and suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology), reflow soldering, wave soldering, and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection).
- Experience with process optimization tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC).
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
