Responsibility
- Lead structural design and analysis for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with international and local building codes.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate structural requirements into project plans and timelines.
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to monitor construction progress and address any technical challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers to optimize structural solutions for cost, safety, and sustainability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering for large-scale civil and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Strong knowledge of international and Indonesian building codes and standards (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocodes).
- Experience with reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation design for diverse project types.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, CEng, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
