Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate structural engineering activities for offshore and onshore projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and assessments for new and existing infrastructure, including platforms, pipelines, and facilities.
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports to support project execution and decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural engineering solutions into broader project scopes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to enhance structural integrity and safety.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contractors.
- Ensure all structural designs adhere to local and international regulations, including API, ISO, and DNV standards.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on oil & gas, energy, or offshore projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SACS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000) and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ISO, DNV) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic structural assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Certification or chartered status (e.g., P.Eng, CEng) is a plus.
