Responsibility
- Develop and review structural designs, drawings, and calculations for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, from concept to completion.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies to assess structural integrity, material suitability, and construction methodologies.
- Prepare and present engineering reports, specifications, and tender documents for bids and proposals.
- Collaborate with product development teams to innovate structural solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements, including seismic and load-bearing considerations.
- Utilize BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS) for precise modeling and analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to support team growth and project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on construction, infrastructure, or high-rise projects.
- Proficient in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RISA) and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design, as well as foundation and seismic engineering principles.
- Experience with tender processes, cost estimation, and project management in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and government authorities.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
