Responsibility
- Assist in the design, development, and debugging of embedded firmware for test and measurement instruments.
- Write and optimize C/C++ code for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software components.
- Conduct unit testing and validation to ensure firmware reliability and performance.
- Document firmware designs, test cases, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues in existing products.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in embedded systems and propose innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in C/C++ programming and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR) and development tools (e.g., Keil, IAR, GCC).
- Basic understanding of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.) and hardware-software interfacing.
- Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) is a plus.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
