Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and medical sector, is seeking a Senior Strategic Pricing Lead to drive the development of competitive and accurate clinical trial budgets in response to sponsor Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial feasibility, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Your expertise will directly influence the success of clinical trials by optimizing pricing models and negotiating terms that benefit both sponsors and the organization.
Based in the vibrant regions of Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), this position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to groundbreaking medical research.
Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of clinical trial budgets in response to sponsor RFPs, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, and business development) to align pricing strategies with organizational goals.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to benchmark pricing models and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while protecting the organization’s interests.
- Develop and maintain pricing frameworks and tools to streamline budget creation and improve scalability.
- Monitor financial performance of clinical trials, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines in all pricing and budgeting activities.
- Present pricing proposals and financial insights to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic pricing, financial analysis, or clinical trial budgeting, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of developing and negotiating clinical trial budgets with sponsors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry pricing trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with ERP or financial management systems is an advantage.
