Responsibility
- Assess and evaluate the functional abilities, sensory processing, and developmental needs of children with disabilities or delays.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each childās unique goals, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and play-based learning.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to provide guidance, training, and strategies for supporting childrenās development at home and in school.
- Conduct therapy sessions in diverse settings, including clinics, schools, and community centers, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all children.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and measurable results.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and tools in pediatric occupational therapy to enhance service delivery.
- Participate in community outreach programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns to promote early intervention and inclusive practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus on sensory integration, fine motor skills, or developmental delays.
- Strong understanding of child development, neurodiversity, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with children, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in multicultural or international settings is highly desirable.
